This position is of a temporary, seasonal nature and involves responsibilities in aquatic harvesting operations performed by a team of operators under a lead supervisor.

The primary responsibilities include operation of a large weed harvester boat on Robinson Pond; harvesting aquatic weed growth; skimming floating debris and Algae; offloading weeds onto a transport conveyor; general harvester mechanical maintenance and cleaning; general conveyor cleaning and maintenance; completion of daily logs using Goggle application.  Identification of invasive plant species and Harmful Algae Blooms (HABs).

The position pays $18.00 per hour. The schedule is part-time up to 40 hours per week and is weather dependent. 

Candidates must have a valid driver's license, be at least 18 years of age and legally able to work in New York State.
